Nature in the Winter

Having fun snowshoeing in Eden, Utah.
This winter has been fun because we have gotten lots of snow. Getting outside always makes me feel alive and at peace. I was able to go downhill skiing with my husband while my kids were getting lessons for the first time. Both were pros for it being their first time and their instructors were impressed! Funny, though how different it is when you go out on your own and are not in a lesson. My 10 year old went with his school and learned the hard way about moguls and trees.

I also went snowshoeing for my first time with my daughter and her class! This was amazing. I definitely need to get my family a set of snowshoes. Still on the need to do list before spring comes, tubing/sledding and to build a snowman. I took my dog for a walk last night and there were a few snowmen. Oops, next snowfall.

Another great reason to have a dog is to have a companion to go on walks with and to get me outdoors. My pup has gotten me out for a walk practically every day. Okay, I'll admit. I may have skipped a day here or there.
